学堂故事是由袁刚执导，王劲松,雷恪生,丁嘉丽主演的一部国产剧。主要讲述了：在这样的文化背景下，海宁人士王大智来到了陌生的兰香镇，一副貌似学究的圆框眼睛，一身貌似死板的褪色长衫，读书时摇头晃脑，一副貌似老顽固的做派，却有一颗向往自由、渴望将孩子们教育成才的博大爱心。 整

比1920年版本要更加充实和完整，海德先生阴暗面所对应的女主也有了更多的篇幅，开篇主观长镜头我来来回回看了好多遍，甚是精彩。只可惜这版的海德先生像个毛猴子，好歹1920版还有点哥特风，而且1920年的自杀结局无疑比被警察打死要好得多。
