Ambitious & Messy. The concept of the movie is not only interesting and tackles an almost philosophical subject, that is the multiplicity of identity, the many inside one. But I failed to see how the different personas were blending into one, as the movie lacked a direction.

意境上乘，细节丰富，布景出神入化，艺术水准完全超出时代。但可惜剧本太弱了，黑发、雪女都是比较俗套浅显的传统故事，无耳芳一也没什么意思，就茶碗之"中还算能给人眼前一亮的感觉。不过剧本的薄弱反而更突显出小林惊为天人的发挥，不知是否本意就是拍简单的传统故事？如果剧作能接近聊斋的水平，本作毫无疑问必将是神作。现在愈发觉得日本在古装电影上剧本资源的缺乏，沟口我看过的几部，雨月、残菊、近松、山椒，说实话剧作上都相当一般甚至俗套，阿游剧作好恰恰又没拍好；黑泽明前期的罗生门、七武士剧作都属上乘，后期又投靠莎翁怀抱了。。。
